EVEREST LUXUY LODGE TREK – 14 Days
Experience the Everest region in comfort while staying at premium mountain lodges and enjoying spectacular Himalayan views, Sherpa culture, and carefully paced trekking.
Trip Overview
The 14-day Everest Luxury Lodge Trek follows the classic trail from Lukla to Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar while prioritizing upgraded accommodation, attentive service and a private trekking experience. The route passes Phakding, Namche Bazaar, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorak Shep before descending through Pheriche and Namche to Lukla. Planned acclimatization days in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche create a safer and more enjoyable progression into the high Himalayas. Cultural encounters, monasteries, Sherpa settlements, suspension bridges and views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam and Pumori remain central to the experience. The word “luxury” must be understood in the context of a remote high-altitude trek. Premium lodges with private bathrooms, heating or broader menus may be available in selected lower villages. Above Tengboche or Dingboche, facilities become simpler and rooms, toilets, hot water, Wi-Fi and charging may be limited. Exact lodges and room types are confirmed according to availability.

Itinerary
Kathmandu: approximately 1,400 m / 4,593 ft
Meet the representative at Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to the confirmed hotel. Later, attend a trek briefing, review equipment and provide documents needed for permits and flights. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Lukla: 2,860 m / 9,383 ft | Phakding: 2,610 m / 8,563 ft | Flight: approximately 30–40 minutes | Trek: approximately 3–4 hours
Fly to Lukla when weather permits, meet the trekking crew and follow the Dudh Koshi Valley through villages and forest to Phakding. Settle into the selected lodge and rest after the first walking day. Overnight in Phakding.
Namche Bazaar: 3,440 m / 11,286 ft | Trek: approximately 5–7 hours
Walk through Monjo and enter Sagarmatha National Park. Cross suspension bridges and climb steadily through forest to Namche Bazaar, the commercial center of the Khumbu. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Namche Bazaar: 3,440 m / 11,286 ft | Optional hike: approximately 3–5 hours
Hike toward a higher viewpoint, commonly the Everest View Hotel and Khumjung area, before descending to sleep in Namche. Explore local culture and enjoy Himalayan views when weather allows. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Tengboche: approximately 3,860 m / 12,664 ft | Trek: approximately 5–6 hours
Traverse above the Dudh Koshi, descend to Phunki Tenga and climb through rhododendron and pine forest to Tengboche. Visit the monastery when access and timing permit. Accommodation options are more limited here than in Namche. Overnight in Tengboche or a nearby confirmed lodge.
Dingboche: approximately 4,410 m / 14,469 ft | Trek: approximately 5–6 hours
Descend through Deboche, cross the Imja Khola and continue through Pangboche into open alpine country. Reach Dingboche beneath the peaks of the Imja Valley. Higher-altitude lodge facilities are simpler. Overnight in Dingboche.
Dingboche: approximately 4,410 m / 14,469 ft | Optional hike: approximately 3–5 hours
Make a controlled acclimatization hike toward a nearby ridge, often in the direction of Nangkartshang, only as high as conditions and the guide’s assessment allow. Return to Dingboche for rest and preparation. Overnight in Dingboche.
Lobuche: approximately 4,910 m / 16,109 ft | Trek: approximately 5–6 hours
Climb gradually above the Pheriche Valley to Thukla, ascend past memorials to Himalayan climbers and follow the moraine toward Lobuche. Walk slowly and hydrate well. Lodges here are basic because of altitude and remoteness. Overnight in Lobuche.
Gorak Shep: approximately 5,164 m / 16,942 ft | Everest Base Camp: 5,364 m / 17,598 ft | Trek: approximately 7–9 hours
Cross glacial terrain to Gorak Shep, leave unnecessary items at the lodge and continue beside the Khumbu Glacier to Everest Base Camp. Enjoy the icefall and expedition landscape; Everest’s summit is not usually visible from Base Camp itself. Return to Gorak Shep. Accommodation is very basic. Overnight in Gorak Shep.
Kala Patthar: approximately 5,545 m / 18,192 ft | Pheriche: approximately 4,240 m / 13,911 ft | Trek: approximately 7–9 hours
Begin early for the demanding Kala Patthar ascent. When skies are clear, the viewpoint reveals Everest, Nuptse, Pumori and the Khumbu Glacier. Descend to Gorak Shep, eat and continue down past Lobuche and Thukla to Pheriche. Overnight in Pheriche.
Namche Bazaar: 3,440 m / 11,286 ft | Trek: approximately 6–8 hours
Descend through Pangboche and the forested trail near Tengboche before climbing and traversing back to Namche Bazaar. Enjoy the return to more comfortable lodge facilities. Overnight in Namche Bazaar.
Lukla: 2,860 m / 9,383 ft | Trek: approximately 6–8 hours
Descend through forest, cross the Dudh Koshi bridges and leave Sagarmatha National Park. Continue through Monjo and Phakding before the final climb to Lukla. Celebrate the completion of the walking route with the trekking team. Overnight in Lukla.
Kathmandu: approximately 1,400 m / 4,593 ft | Flight: approximately 30–40 minutes
Fly to Kathmandu when weather and airport conditions permit. During peak periods, flights may operate to Ramechhap, followed by a road transfer to Kathmandu. Transfer to the confirmed hotel and enjoy free time. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport according to the included service and recommended reporting time. The journey ends today unless additional nights or tours have been arranged.
